What is Startup Boost?
Startup Boost for Microsoft Edge means that the process of Microsoft Edge will run in the background when the device (Windows, Mac, etc.) starts up. It’s a feature that makes it look like it started up faster when using Edge. This significantly reduces the startup time of Microsoft Edge. However, I’m using Google Chrome and not Microsoft Edge! For such people, it consumes unnecessary resources.
How to set startup boost?
Start Edge
First, start [Microsoft Edge].
Click on the “…” in the top right corner and select “Settings”
Select “System”
Enable startup boost
Disable startup boost
